Tesla only sells half as many cars in many EU countries as it did a year ago

The US car manufacturer Tesla only sells half as many cars in many European countries as it did a year ago. In France, Sweden and Denmark, sales fell by around half, data showed on Monday. Even the market launch of a revised version of the bestseller Model Y and a cheaper entry-level version of the vehicle could not stop the downward trend. Analysts see increasing competition in the electric car market as a reason for the decline in sales. In addition, Elon Musk’s company’s model range is viewed as comparatively old.
