This Sunday night, around twelve o’clock, a man fell from the roof of a home in Torrejón de Ardoz. The neighbors, alerted by the impact, called the emergency services, who when they went to the house found the body of a woman with multiple stab wounds. Although all lines of investigation are open, the main hypothesis of the National Police is a sexist murder: that the man, after killing his partner, with whom he had two minor children, committed suicide, according to sources close to the case.
This past Friday, the Ministry of Equality confirmed the last two cases. That of a 60-year-old woman murdered on Saturday, November 22, in Malaga; and that of another, 25 years old, murdered by her partner on November 26. So far this year, 40 women have been murdered by their partners or ex-partners. Since the company started in 2003, there are 1,335 women who have been killed by their partners or ex-partners.
