Weather for December 2025. The forecasts have changed again
For several years, winter in Poland has been becoming milder. Malicious people will say that the weather in our country is more and more reminiscent of the rainy season than a real Polish winter. What will it be like this year? The first weather models indicated that we may finally have a snowy and frosty winter. Some even muttered something about the winter of the century. However, the latest weather forecasts indicate that this winter will not be so cold at all.
Meteorologists agree. 5 will bring warming and significant rainfall. The weather in the first two weeks of December can fluctuate around 10 degrees Celsius. Warmth, however, will not mean pleasant weather. More dark and rainy days await us. Such weather will favor the formation of fog and will significantly hamper road conditions. Night frosts may cause black ice and slippery conditions on the roads. These will be difficult weather conditions. Additionally, moisture may cause the perceived temperature to be lower. It will be easier to catch wind and catch a cold. The sun may appear in the north and west of the country.
There is nothing to count on in the next two weeks. Snow cover is actually forecast in mountainous regions, but it only applies to selected areas. Temperatures will be above zero during the day and will drop slightly below zero at night. It will be the coldest in Kujawy and the north-east. Heavy fog is forecast in Krakow, as well as temperatures around 2 degrees Celsius. In Warsaw this Saturday, thermometers will indicate up to 6 degrees Celsius and cloudiness.

Weather models indicate that atmospheric highs may head towards Scandinavia, which will bring colder air to Poland. However, they will still remain in close proximity, which may mean variable weather in our country. Rainy and warm days may be interspersed with snow and real winter. The latest forecasts indicate that Christmas will actually get colder and there is a chance of snowfall, but it may be temporary and not affect the entire country.
