In an interview with “CNN”, Jardim questioned his ‘stay’ at Cruzeiro for the next season. However, he revealed that President Pedro Lourenço already knows his decision.
— I have a very good relationship with my president. I have a great friendship and affinity with him. He knows very well what I think and what I want for my life. I never hid anything. We are totally focused on the end of the Brazilian Championship and the World Cup semi-finals. After that we will think about the future. In relation to everything that will be in 2026, a very Brazilian word: everything that will be the future belongs to God — said the coach.
Asked by João Vitor Xavier about staying until 2026, Leonardo Jardim said nothing:

Leonardo Jardim: contract with Cruzeiro
Garden has contract with Cruzeiro until the end of 2026but he always leaves the future open when questioned. The Portuguese has already received some proposals from the United Arab Emirates.
