Susan Miller is a ex-spy who has worked for almost 40 years in the CIA. His first destination, in 1989, was the US Embassy in Moscow, so he is a person who knows perfectly how it works and what could be the medium-term intentions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In statements to the Dutch media Miller has said that Putin was unknown to the US intelligence services when Putin came to power. However, “as soon as we learned that he belonged to the Second Directorate of the KGB, “We knew we were facing the worst of the worst.”he highlighted.
In that sense, the former CIA spy has explained that this KGB leadership was responsible for protecting the Soviet Union from external and internal dangers. For this, “they persecuted their own people. And they were considered the most loyal to the Soviet rulers,” Miller said.
Regarding Putin, the former CIA worker stressed that “he is not Russian, he is Soviet. He wants to recover the Soviet Union and nothing will stop him. “He doesn’t give a damn about the loss of human life.”
“Of course he is Russian, but wants to restore the Soviet Union. Last year I spoke to some people in Kazakhstan’s intelligence service and asked them what their biggest concern was. One of them said: ‘Let them invade us.’ I thought he was referring to China, but he was referring to Putin, knowing what he is like. The Kazakh said that he saw sabotage and influence to put people on Russia’s side,” the former spy added.
Furthermore, Susan Miller has highlighted that when the military invasion of Ukraine comes to an end, Vladimir Putin “is not going to stop. He will never. “He will continue to push and push to increase his influence.”
And based on the Russian president’s last words, the former CIA spy does not seem to be far off the mark. This Tuesday, Little ha stating that “if Europe suddenly wants to fight and it does, we We’re ready right now.”
