Pishingery karmelowe they are crunchy, caramel-like, and impressively decorated with chocolate. This treat is a variation on a theme Viennese pischinger desserti.e. a cake made of wafers layered with chocolate and nut filling, covered with chocolate icing. This simple afternoon tea is sure to delight your family’s taste buds and they will quickly ask you to prepare another batch.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 150 g of dry light square wafers,
- 1.5 liters of fat milk,
- 2½ cups of sugar,
- 1 pack of sugar with vanilla,
- 200 g of butter,
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
Ingredients for the topping:
- 100 g of dark or milk chocolate,
- 2 tablespoons of butter,
- 2 tablespoons of milk.
Pour milk into a large pot, add sugar and vanilla sugar. Cook over very low heat for two hours, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and turns golden caramel in color. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Add chopped butter and lemon juice.
Blend or mix thoroughly until smooth and shiny Carmelo period.
Spread each wafer cake with an even layer of caramel. Stack the wafers one on top of the other, pressing lightly. Do not spread the last waffle.
Cover the whole thing with a board and weigh it down with something heavy (e.g. a pot of water). Set aside in a cool place for a few hours so that everything sticks together.
Before serving, cut into triangles – this is the classic shape of pishingers.
Melt the chocolate, butter and milk in a pot or water bath, stirring until smooth. Set aside for 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly but is still liquid.
Grab each phishing triangle by the end. Dip half of the cookie into warm chocolate icing, creating an elegant, clear division into two triangles. Place on a rack or baking paper to let the chocolate harden.
