The former president’s lawyers asked the minister, rapporteur of Penal Execution 169/DF at the Federal Supreme Court, to authorize two health professionals to have access to the person being investigated for specialized medical monitoring.
In the request, filed this Monday (1), the defense requires the entry of cardiologist Brasil Ramos Caiado and physiotherapist Kleber Antônio Caiado de Freitas. According to lawyers, the presence of professionals is necessary to ensure continuity of treatment in the areas of cardiology and physiotherapy.
The petition is signed by lawyers Celso Sanchez Vilardi, Paulo Amador da Cunha Bueno and Daniel Bettamio Tesser, who ask for “speedy consideration” of the request to ensure the former president’s clinical assistance.
