Brazil is represented in two categories of the Gotham Awards this Monday (1st) with the film “The Secret Agent”and the actor Wagner Moura49, and the director Kleber Mendonça Filho57.
The two modeled their outfits at the awards ceremony. In addition to them, Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie Sandler, and Indya Moore were other artists who posed for the paparazzi at the event.
The annual award aims to highlight the best productions and professionals in independent cinema, both in the United States and the rest of the world. In this edition, Brazil was represented with the film “The Secret Agent”which competes in two categories.
Among the highlights are the film “One Battle After Another”by Paul Thomas Anderson, which received six nominations, including Best Picture. Then the drama “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You”by Mary Bronstein, competes in four categories.
The director’s new production Kleber Mendonça Filho competes in the categories of Best Screenplay and Best Actor, with Wagner Mourawho will also be one of the presenters of the Gotham Awards.
