Instead of throwing it in the trash, take it to your car in winter. The effect will surprise you

Winter season For many people it is beautiful, associated with holidays, cozy interiors or playing in the snow. Among these people, however, there are usually no drivers who, with horror, shovel snow off their cars and scrape their windows every morning just to be able to drive away.

Anyone who is once again struggling to free windshield wipers that are frozen to the glass will be relieved to try a simple home method to prevent this from happening. Just use bubble wrap – but you need to know how and when to do it.

Ordinary bubble wrap may prove to be an irreplaceable product in the fall and winter season. It can be used instead of a professional anti-frost mat placed on the car window. Although it is not a specialized product, bubble wrap is easily available, cheap and can be equally effective. However, everything depends on our accuracy and weather conditions. It may not cope with wind, heavy snow and cold.

The use of bubble wrap however, it has many advantages. It provides a barrier against frost, helps prevent windshield wipers from freezing, and is easy to use. Just apply it to the entire surface of the glass.

Thanks to the air bubbles enclosed in bubbles, the foil serves as excellent insulation. The heat on the side of the glass escapes more slowly, so the water vapor does not freeze so quickly. During moderate frosts, the glass may be clean or almost clean in the morning. Using foil helps us save time that would otherwise be spent on scraping the glass.

Bubble wrap is not a professional anti-frost cover. It must be taken into account that in times of severe frost or unfavorable weather conditions, its use may not be enough. On a daily basis, its effectiveness will depend mainly on the accuracy of its placement on the glass. If it deviates from it, the effect may be poor.

The product must adhere exactly to the glass surface and cover the entire glass. It is best to apply it to the windshield at night and press it down with the wipers. This will minimize the risk of moving the foil and at the same time prevent the wipers from freezing.

It is worth trying this trick to reduce the need to use chemical defrosters or scrapers, which do not affect the glass surface. Chemical agents may also pose a threat to the natural environment. This is an interesting alternative that may prove effective.
