The president of only one party attended the public test of the electronic voting machine carried out by the (Superior Electoral Court), this Monday (1st): Amauri Pinho, from PRTB, the party that houses coach Pablo Marçal.
The exercise is routinely carried out before all votes, to demonstrate the security of the system.
Simulations of real attacks are carried out to verify the security and resilience of voting, counting and totalization systems.
The TSE calls experts, researchers, civil society representatives and party leaders to monitor the test.
In addition to the president of , an MDB leader also accepted the invitation.
“PRTB is committed to transparency and, if there is a time to monitor and collaborate, this time is now. Voters deserve to have their representatives here, assessing the reliability of the electronic voting machine”, stated Pinho.
The tests are offered by the TSE precisely to prevent parties from later pointing out vulnerabilities in the system, as Bolsonarists did in the past. Subtitles rarely appear, however.
