MEO, Vodafone and NOS prices will rise in 2026

Increase in line with inflation and expected contractual conditions. But there are exceptions in some services.

Shortly after MEO and Vodafone Portugal announced that they will raise prices in 2026, NOS also confirmed to Lusa the increase, in line with the inflation rate, in some services.

“Last year, NOS chose not to reflect the effects of inflation in its prices, absorbing the increase in costs throughout the entire value chain”, said the source, but “in a context in which significant price revisions have been announced in several markets, in 2026 NOS will make an adjustment to some services, in line with the inflation rate”, added an official source.

Vodafone Portugal and Vodafone Portugal will also raise prices in 2026 in accordance with the expected contractual conditions, according to official sources from the telecommunications companies telling Lusa.

Uzo and Moche are left out of MEO’s increases. “MEO will proceed, in 2026, with the contractually foreseen price update, with the exception of services from the digital brand Uzo and the brand for the youth segment, Moche”, says an official source from the operator.

“This update contributes to maintaining the high quality standard and the level of investment in innovation and in mobile and fiber optic networks”, explains the operator.

It states that “on January 9, 2026, the price of services will be updated up to the maximum value of the inflation rate predicted for 2025 and in accordance with contractual conditions”.

“The price update does not apply to new contracts or renewals, made after November 11th, in the private segment. It does not apply, for these customers, to prepaid and the most recent tariffs, namely RED All In, Yorn Chill and Net+ and the Black Friday offer”, according to Vodafone.

“the price update will not be applied during the first six months, that is, until July 8, 2026”, for new subscriptions, loyalty and ‘upgrades’ of business services.
