RSF militias take strategically important place in southern Sudan

Khartoum – The paramilitary RSF militia says it has taken full control of Babanusa in southern Sudan. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said on Monday it had captured the strategic transport hub in oil-rich West Kordofan state, repelling an attack by the Sudanese army. The militia said this was a clear violation of the humanitarian ceasefire. There was initially no statement from the army.
