“We are all working to end the war against Ukraine and achieve a just and lasting peace. We welcome the continued efforts of the United States to realize this goal.” Rutte told reporters on the eve of a meeting of NATO foreign ministers. “I am confident that this continued effort will eventually restore peace to Europe,” stated.
Prospects for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, including assistance to Kyiv, will be among the main topics of the meeting of the heads of NATO diplomacy. It will include a working lunch of the NATO Council – Ukraine with the participation of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaje Kallasova. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be represented by Deputy Christopher Landau.
