The entire territory of Slovakia should be expected to be foggy until Tuesday lunchtime. In most districts, ice also occurs. This was pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ). He informed about it on his website.
The first-level fog warning is valid until 12:00 p.m. Meteorologists expect the appearance of fog with visibility from 50 to 200 meters. “Reduced visibility is a potential hazard for traffic activities,” they warn.
The first degree of frost warning was issued by the institute for all districts of the Banskobystrické, Trenčianske and Žilina regions. Also for several districts of the Košice, Nitra, Trnava and Prešov regions. Lasts until 10:00 a.m.
