20 minutes: Marcelo’s hospital discharge and the meeting between the USA and Russia

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa has already been discharged from São João hospital after surgery for an incarcerated intestinal hernia. The President of the Republic left a thank you to the National Health Service team and will rest in the residential wing of the Belém Palace. In Moscow, Russia says that the meeting with the American envoy was constructive but emphasizes that peace in Ukraine is no closer. The meeting ended without consensus although neither side spoke of rejecting proposals.
