The twelfth series of the contemporary phenomenon Danube, at your service will culminate on Thursday, December 4 at 8:30 p.m. However, fans will not lose their favorite series – Markíza has prepared an early Christmas present for them. The Danube will return in a special holiday episode, which will bring new emotional stories, warm moments and a unique atmosphere.
Both Danube and Sľub are projects in which craft meets emotion and a huge amount of work by dozens of people in front of and behind the camera. We prepared the Christmas specials as a thank you to the viewers – they are beautiful, kind and contain everything that makes these series special. I believe that Slovak families will enjoy them exactly in the spirit of the holidays – together,” says Silvia Majeská, program director of the Markíza group.
Even during the war, Christmas is a time when time stops for a while – although it is poorer in terms of food and people who are missing from the Christmas table. Imrich (Ivan Šandor) arrives at the Bratislava hospital with the wounded Russian soldier Váň, whom Tereza (Barbora Chlebcová) accidentally discovers while singing carols.
It is clear that he has to hide him somewhere from the guards, who Tereza will definitely send to the hospital – and although it is risky, it is Christmas that opens hearts and doors. But whose holidays will be complicated by these unexpected guests – and where will Váňa find refuge in the end? The Christmas special brings strong humanity, togetherness and light in dark times. Danube, at your service – You can watch the Christmas special on Tuesday, December 9 at 8:30 p.m.
