Bruchala remembers a big FOOL from 20 years ago: He immediately called Marika Gombitová!

Pavel Bruchala (48) is a person who has undergone a significant career transformation. He became known primarily from his work at TV Markíza, where he moderated shows such as Teleráno, Zlatý dážď or Reflex. More than 10 years ago, he evaporated from the screens and began to devote himself to his passion – traveling. In an open interview for the project returned to long-term moderating and recalled his biggest blunder.

Bruchala was proud of the fact that, fortunately, he had never made any big presenter mistakes in his life, but one occurred to him during the hosting of Zlaté Slávik in 2004. “I managed to get Marika Gombitová’s name wrong and said Monika Gombitová. At that moment there was such a buzz and I said: ‘Jesus Mary, Marika Gombitová!'” said the ex-moderator.

Although he immediately corrected himself and was very sorry, the public continued to make fun of him for a long time afterwards. “I was so sorry for it that I called her the next day and said: ‘Mrs. Gombitová, I’m terribly sorry. I just missed it, I wasn’t focused because I got carried away by the atmosphere…'” he explained his mistake live.

“And she answered me: ‘Palko, please, it’s completely normal. It was live, you’ve corrected yourself, don’t worry about it.’ So this was important to me, that Marika Gombitová forgave me in quotes, but she had nothing to forgive me for, because it is natural that a person can make a mistake,” added Bruchala.
