Brussels – The EU transport ministers want to shorten the pick-up inspection interval for older cars at a meeting in Brussels on Thursday. But this won’t change anything for Austrian drivers, as the domestic law is already stricter. Discussions will also include higher weight limits for low-emission and zero-emission trucks. If the directive is adopted, the total weight limit for electric trucks will be raised to up to 46 tons in the future.
