Fire started in the early hours of this Wednesday (Dec 3) in Irajá; There are still no reports of injuries at the supply center
A large fire hits Ceasa warehouses, in Irajá, north of Rio de Janeiro, in the early hours of this Wednesday (Dec 3, 2025). There is still no information about injuries at the state’s largest fruit and vegetable supply center.
Shortly after 3:30 am, the COR (City Hall Operations Center) reported that the fire reached Pavilion 43 at Ceasa and advised drivers to pay extra attention due to the possibility of blockages and smoke.
At around 5am, the agency declared that there was no impact on Avenida Brasil or the surrounding roads.
According to COR, teams from Águas do Rio, CET-Rio (RJ Traffic Engineering Company), Fire Department, Comlurb (Municipal Urban Cleaning Company) and Municipal Guard were called.
