Karlsruhe – A constitutional complaint from the German news magazine The mirror in connection with articles about the Wirecard scandal has been successful. A decision by the Munich Higher Regional Court violates the magazine’s fundamental rights to freedom of expression and freedom of the press, the Federal Constitutional Court said in a decision published on Wednesday. A former Wirecard employee successfully took action in Munich against reports of criminal allegations against him.
