According to the Public Ministry, Sócrates spent two weeks in the United Arab Emirates, a trip that led prosecutors to admit the possibility of a risk of flight and to consider worsening coercive measures.
During the analysis carried out on SIC Notícias, José Gomes Ferreira left a question that he considers fundamental: where does the money come from that allows Sócrates to travel so frequently? The commentator recalled that the former ruler appears to maintain a standard of living higher than what would be compatible with officially known income, which is why he argues that these issues deserve further investigation.
