Magálova’s heartbreaking confession about the loss of her son († 49): I’m just surviving! Painful words about grandchildren

The life of popular actress Kamila Magálova (75) was forever marked by a huge tragedy. Her son Martin († 49) tragically died last September in Italy while doing what filled him with joy. A lawyer paid with his life for an accident at horse polo. The actress cannot come to terms with the cruelest loss, which she talked about in Honzu Musila’s show called Popojedem. The interview was quoted by the newspaper

The artist found herself in every parent’s worst nightmare. “Suddenly, in one second, your life changes completely. That’s why I left the theater. My son was a very successful lawyer, traveled a lot, worked in an English firm, London and the like. He always took me with him, come with me for three days and so on. I always had absolute support in him. Certainty. I completely lost it. Not only that“, the actress confided.

Those around her try to comfort her with words that everyone understands, but Magálová has her own opinion about it. “No one can understand you. Only the one who experiences it. It’s terrible. Life goes on even when you don’t want it to. And sometimes I really, honestly don’t want to, because it’s such a waste…” she admitted openly. Not even her grandchildren can heal the huge wound on her heart. “I have seven granddaughters, they are all grown up. But that won’t replace the wonderful son you have,” added.

“My son has four children. Two are already adults – 20 and 18, and with his current partner 4.5 and two and a half years old. It’s so sad to watch those kids. My daughter-in-law is wonderful, she always talks about him, she is devoted to the children. But they are small. There will come a time when it wears off in them. And maybe a new partner will come and I won’t be angry. Life goes on, she’s young,” noted the popular Slovak artist.

The actress is extremely sorry that Martin will not see his children grow up. “And of course, they also lack the male element. It is a loss that is irreplaceable. To be honest, my life is very marked by it. And I don’t want to blaspheme, but if at this moment, I don’t know, the Lord God or someone said that you will no longer live, then I am ready to leave. To meet him,” she shocked.

Magálová had a beautiful relationship with Martin and she loved him above all else. “I would call him the kind of son any mother would have. That’s what he was. It’s such a void. Maybe that’s why I work so much, I have my pet and I survive. I’m just surviving. I no longer enjoy life” came a painful statement from her mouth. “I’m ready. I’m mentally thinking about meeting Martin there. Sometimes one feels that joy and happiness are bought by the most painful things,” she said.

Magálova is tormented by loneliness. “Sometimes I wonder if I might have some more love. I’m not talking about physical love, but when someone hugs you. Caresses you. Tells you they love you. Calls you several times a day. I’ve lost that. My son called me daily. He was my son, but now I’m talking about another love. About someone who would be by my side. I’m alone,” she poured her heart out. She knows very well that many people have not experienced the love that she could feel and she is grateful for it. She added in one breath how much she misses him.
