Slovak singer Katarína Knechtová (44) has been active on the music scene for several decades, thanks to which she has gained loyal fans not only in Slovakia, but also in the Czech Republic. However, admiration can sometimes turn quickly and turn into unpleasant harassment. She described the unpleasant experience in an interview for the portal.
The well-known dark-haired woman will certainly remember the recent concert in Eastern Bohemia for a long time. “Today’s concert was wonderful, even if it took place in a slightly more tense atmosphere. I thank the Municipal Police in Kostelec nad Orlicí for their professional protection and for allowing me to feel safe even in a difficult situation. In the end, everything turned out as it should” she stated on the social network with a moderate dose of mystery, but at the same time added the hashtag stalking (stalking, editor’s note).
She also posted a shot with law enforcement officers she could rely on. You can find their joint PHOTO in the gallery. She then openly described the details of the inconvenience she is currently facing. “We have been harassed for a long time by a person directly from the city where we played yesterday,” she explained, as this person is seriously interfering with her work life.
Her entire team therefore agreed that it would be better not to leave things to chance. “Since we have been struggling with him for a long time and he repeatedly crosses certain boundaries, Sandra (her manager, editor’s note) previously contacted the Czech police to ensure our protection.” she clarified their concern.
Knechtová herself is fully aware that the situation could turn dangerous for her out of nowhere. “Nowadays, when a lot of bad things happen, we didn’t want to underestimate the situation. In the end, before the performance, the police arrested him because he was allegedly hanging around the stage.” she added, but it was certainly not easy for her to prepare for the performance when there was a person near her who might be up to something.
