The PT state deputy (SP) attributed to governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) the installation of a new toll on the Dutra highway, which is a concession from the federal government, in a post on social media.
The section, providing access to Guarulhos airport, is on the express lane between the Tietê and Arujá (SP) waterfront.
“Charge – Management Tarcísio will implement a new toll on the Dutra express lane, towards Guarulhos Airport, from 12/6/2025. The charge of R$ 1.37 to Cumbica marks the debut of the free flow system on a stretch that previously had no toll, between Marginal Tietê and Arujá”, said the post, which was deleted by the parliamentarian after publication of the report by the Panel.
The post was accompanied by a reproduction of a report from TVT, which is maintained by the ABC Metalworkers Union and the Bank Workers Union of Osasco and region, which incorrectly stated that the new toll is the work of the Tarcísio government.
Tatto tells the Panel that there was an error and that the idea was to criticize the São Paulo government for the toll on the Mogi-Dutra highway, a state concession.
The origin of the mistake would have been the TVT report, according to him. Tolls at Mogi-Dutra began operating under the free flow system about a month ago.
The toll at Dutra, criticized by Tatto, will start operating on December 6th.
In total, there are 21 free flow gantries, which are at all exits and entrances from the express lanes to the Dutra marginal roads and go to the Arujá tollbooth.
Only those traveling along the express lane will pay the toll. If the driver only travels along marginal roads, he will not be charged.
The price will vary depending on the day and time, and also the distance traveled — the further the car travels, the more you will pay. No.
