The president of the National Union of Cegonheiros (Sinaceg), José Ronaldo Marques da Silva, known as Boizinho, told president Luiz Inácio da Silva that the category will not join a possible call by some groups for this Thursday (4).
The two met at the inauguration of the first, in Horizonte (CE).
In the conversation, Boizinho also wished the president “health and good luck”. He said that in 2026 the storks should deliver 8,000 vehicles produced in Ceará.
The ceremony was attended by vice-president Geraldo Alckmin and vice-president of the Interstate Federation of Cegonheiros (Feiceg), Ronaldo Marques da Silva.
The union members were invited by Comex, a trading company that took over the former Troller factory to transform it into a multi-brand automotive hub.
Chevrolet, a GM brand, will be the first automaker to produce electric vehicles in the new center. The complex project foresees an investment of R$400 million.
