London – With a 2-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday, Arsenal increased the gap to their closest rivals Manchester City to five points. Goals from Mikel Merino (11th) and joker Bukayo Saka (91st) ensured that the Gunners are now unbeaten in all competitions for 18 games. Ten points behind Arsenal in fifth place are Oliver Glasner and Crystal Palace, the Eagles celebrated a 1-0 win at laggards Burnley on Wednesday.
