Vote paves the way for the final analysis of the Budget

If work progresses, there is a possibility that the Budget will be voted on by the 17th.

The President of the Senate, announced on Wednesday (3) the call for this Thursday (4) of a session of the National Congress to vote exclusively on the 2026 (PLN2/2025). The vote paves the way for the final analysis of the Budget.

This Wednesday, the CMO approved the revenue report, with an increase of R$13.2 billion in revenue in relation to what was predicted in the Executive’s original project, which establishes a total of approximately R$2.6 trillion.

If the work progresses, there is the possibility of the Budget being voted on by the 17th. According to the Constitution, the Legislative Branch must vote on the LOA project and send it to the President of the Republic for approval by December 22nd.
