Well-known radio host and television presenter, Olga Cardoso formed a historic duo with António Sala.

The duo Olga Cardoso-António Sala, very popular in the 1980s and 1990s, filled the mornings of thousands or millions of Portuguese people. The program “Despertar” was recorded abroad: Spain, Austria and Macau; or even on a plane, boat or submarine.

There was a particularity: Olga lived in the Rádio Renascença building, in Porto (Rua Sá da Bandeira), and there are reports of recordings made in her pajamas, from the city of Porto – while António Sala was in Lisbon, live.
