The 37-year-old goalkeeper has not played since mid-October due to a fracture in his right hand. The archer’s last match was the 5-1 victory on October 15th.

Weverton is in the final stages of recovery from a fissure in his right hand. In the most recent training sessions, he normally participated in activities with the squad, although he still appeared using protection on the injured area.
The injury happened in training before the duel with Flamengo in the 29th round of the Brasileirão. Since then, Carlos Miguel took over the alviverde goalwith Marcelo Lomba remaining as an option on the bench.
The goalkeeper even appeared in press conferences before the Libertadores final, but has not returned to play for the team yet. In recent days, news about Grêmio’s interest in the player has moved the market.
