BR-116 was closed at km 229, towards Rio de Janeiro, due to an accident between trucks. A trailer loaded with fuel overturned, and was then collided with another trailer carrying beer.
After the crash, the trucks caught fire.
The accident happened around 3 pm, in the city of Piraí. The PRF (Federal Highway Police) station in Resende responded to the incident.
Drivers at the scene recorded the explosion after the accident.
There is still no information about injuries.
