The Ribera Salud group sent a statement this Wednesday night announcing that, “to guarantee the values and ethics that have always characterized the Group, Pablo Gallart [el CEO] has requested the president of Ribera, Emmanuel de Geuser, to disassociate himself from responsibilities for the management of the Torrejón Hospital while the group carries out an in-depth audit to guarantee that there has been no breach of quality standards in patient care, professional ethics, or the law.” This statement comes in which Pablo Gallart ordered to increase waiting lists and discard profitable processes to increase profits.
After the meeting on September 25 in which Gallart conveyed these instructions to around twenty officials, uncovered by EL PAÍS, the political movement, both in the Community of Madrid and from the Government, has been immediate. Hours after these audios became known, the Group under which the management of the Torrejón Hospital is located, public with a private concert, has sent the communication.
In it, in addition to making that announcement about Gallart, he states that “the absolute priority of the group and its largest shareholder Vivalto Santé are and will continue to be its patients,” that “therefore, the service and attention to the patient will continue to have the same quality and rigor as always.” Also that the “Ribera Health Group maintains its commitment to the public health system to continue offering patients the best possible care,” and that “this has always been the priority for the Torrejón Hospital and for Ribera in its 26 years of history.”
