The ex-head of the SND Drlička received a ban from the court regarding Šimkovičová: The famous actor did not remain silent

The Regional Court in Bratislava granted the proposal of the Minister of Culture Martina Šimkovičová to order an urgent measure regarding the former director of the Slovak National Theater Matej Drlička. The former director, whom Šimkovičová dismissed in August 2024, will no longer be able to publicly comment on her address, he writes.

The Minister of Culture sent the initiative in March after how Drlička was charged with defamation and defamation. The measure will come into effect on December 6. However, the City Court Bratislava IV previously rejected the minister’s proposal twice.

According to Drlička, the decision goes beyond the scope of a normal civil dispute. “The Bratislava Regional Court will shut me down on December 6. I, Matej Drlička, a citizen of the Slovak Republic, will not actually be able to say even the name of the Minister of Culture in public.” wrote on .

He does not agree with the court’s decision. “I submit to this decision of the Regional Court in Bratislava, but as a responsible and engaged citizen, I cannot respect him and will take all legal steps to reverse him. In essence, a blanket ban on expressing opinions about a person exercising public power, originating from another branch of state power, in addition at the stage of the proceedings, which characterized only by poor evidence, I consider it to be an extremely dangerous signal” he thinks.

Drlička did not forgive the ironic comment. “Starting on December 6, Martina Šimkovičová becomes a person whose name I must not say. The resemblance to the character from the book saga by JK Rowling is purely coincidental,” he wrote. He was alluding to the character in the legendary Harry Potter series – Voldemort, whose name was not allowed to be spoken.

Actor Martin Klinčúch also responded to the court’s decision on social media. who is known from the TV series Pán profesor, Danube, at your service or Vina. He shared a post announcing the news on his Instagram story. “Huh? What?” remained in awe of Klinčúch. PHOTO can be found in the gallery.
