Amid the celebrations for the Brazilian Championship title, won after the 1-0 victory over Ceará at Maracanã, Bruno Henrique opened up about the future of his career. The striker revealed that he intends to retire at Flamengo and that that moment could be close.

The striker’s contract with Flamengo runs until the end of next season, exactly the period in which he plans to end his career. Bruno Henrique turns 35 on December 30th and, at the end of the contract, he will be 36 years old.

Bruno Henrique extended Flamengo’s historic record of titles by lifting the Brazilian Championship trophy this Wednesday. Added to the Libertadores won last Saturday, he reached 17 titles with the red-black shirt, becoming, alongside Arrascaeta, the greatest champion in the club’s history.
