What chatbots say has long since taken on absurd dimensions. The AI bot Grok on the Twitter platform (now X), which was bought by Elon Musk, was initially too politically left-wing for the boss. Adjustments have since led to Grok describing himself as “MechaHitler”, denying the Shoa and showering Musk with exaggerated praise. At least temporarily. Although it is illusory to assume that artificial intelligence is unbiased and free of bias, such examples show particularly impressively how chatbots can be manipulated.
