Slovak model Adriana Sklenaříková (54) after breaking up with her husband Aram Ohanian (57) gave an interview to a French magazine, where she talked about her new life after the end of her marriage. The model revealed that she feels that a wide range of possibilities are opening up to her again. “I wouldn’t say I feel like a teenager discovering the world, but there is a bit of that,” she said years ago.
As for the reasons for their separation, the native of Brezno attributed it to the gradual development of the couple, explaining that her husband made her happy for a long time, but people change and so do situations. “Other desires may arise. And if it’s not going well, why should we sacrifice ourselves? It’s never nice to say goodbye, but a relationship that ends doesn’t necessarily have to be negative,” she noted.
“Nina represents to me an avalanche of love that sometimes moves me to tears,” she said at the end about her little princess Adriana, who was also previously married to footballer Christian Karembeu.
Ohanian met Sklenaříková in his restaurant in the presence of actor Alain Delon. They got married on June 14, 2014 in Monaco. At first, they lived a fairytale life between Monaco, Paris and Marrakesh. In 2018, they had a daughter, Nina, whom the businessman describes as the biggest evil in his life. “I always wanted a daughter. When she was born, I had everything,” stated.
Now he decided to speak for privacy . He claims that the media image of the family is often distorted and the reality is completely different. While Adriana lives a social life in Paris, he takes care of his daughter in Marrakesh, according to his own words. “I don’t want to go to war with the mother of my child. I just want things to be put back where they belong and the truth to be told.” Ohanian said.
The break in the relationship came during the pandemic. The business stopped, Aram fell into depression, while Adriana, according to him, wanted to travel, work and live life to the fullest. “We stopped being on the same page,” he says. The definitive separation occurred when Adriana decided to return to Paris. “She chose Paris, I chose Nina. For me, family is the foundation,” explains.
According to him, while the top model devotes herself to her daughter several days a month, he ensures the daily running of her life – school, duties, free time. “Adriana is in photos with Nina in the media or on social networks. I don’t need her to play mother, but to be her. The separations were painful, tears flowed in streams. Finally, she got used to this rhythm of arrivals and departures.” he added.
