By regularly using a natural conditioner containing this ingredient, the orchid will produce flowers much longer.

It is also very important that such a natural conditioner, unlike chemical fertilizers, works gently – it does not salt the soil and does not burden the roots of the specimen. Moreover, the orchid’s reactions after its use are not violent. Therefore, it can be used for weakened plants.

To prepare tea nutrient for orchids, we only use loose leaf tea. However, we do not use fine tea from bags due to the poorer quality and content of additives that may have a negative impact on the plant.

So how to make tea conditioner? It’s very simple. Pour 3 teaspoons of loose leaf tea into a glass and pour 500 ml of boiled, hot water over it. Cover the dish with a plate and wrap it in a towel to cool it down slowly.

After a few hours, strain the liquid to get rid of the grounds and dilute it with 2 liters of water. Finally, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to enhance the properties of the tea and stabilize the pH. The conditioner prepared in this way is ready for immediate use.

Orchids have a specific root system – it is easy to flood, so it is not recommended to pour loose leaf tea fertilizer into the pot. This may cause stress on the substrate.

Rub the tea conditioner into the leaves of the plant. To do this, apply the liquid to these parts using a cotton swab or soft cloth. Then the orchid will absorb the valuable ingredients of the conditioner in no time. Additionally, we will clean it of dust that hinders photosynthesis. In addition, the bitter taste of the tea will act as a deterrent to pests.

Such we use it once a week. After just 14 days you will notice new leaves, and flowering will occur after a few weeks.
