The White House released this Thursday (4) a Christmas card with the image of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, with the phrase “Daddy is home”.
In the caption, the official profile @whitehouse wrote: “Back home for the holidays!”
Since the beginning of the Republican leader’s second term, the White House has dedicated itself to a new social media strategy.
Often associated with the use of memes, informal videos and current trends, the official account’s posts indicate a significant break with the way previous governments used social media.
White House Christmas Decoration
This week, the White House unveiled Christmas decorations, which include 75 garlands, more than 50 trees and 7,622 meters of ribbons.
This year’s theme is “Home is where the heart is,” according to information from First Lady Melania Trump’s office.
The decor, which was planned by Melania in conjunction with designer Hervé Pierre, includes a replica of the president’s official residence with wreaths in every window.
A portrait of President Donald Trump with his fist raised after being shot in the ear in July 2024 during a rally in Pennsylvania was also displayed amid holiday decorations.
Standing nearly 18 feet tall, the official White House Christmas tree, located in the Blue Room, was decorated with gold stars and ornaments representing the official bird and flower of each US state and territory. The decoration was a tribute to the resilience, bravery and sacrifice of soldiers and their families.
In the East Room, the colors red, white and blue, the symbol of the USA, stand out.
In the Green Room, two portraits of presidents created with more than six thousand puzzle pieces are on display.
Featured in the State Dining Room is a gingerbread house made from more than 110 pounds of gingerbread cookies.
