On a visit to Israel, federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) asked for the release of his father, former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), in a note written and posted on the Western Wall, an important and sacred monument located in Jerusalem.
Living in the United States since March this year, the parliamentarian recorded the moment the paper was placed in one of the cracks in the wall.
To the camera, he shows the note with the message: “Solta Bolsonaro” and “Free Bolsonaro” (Free Bolsonaro, in English), with the flags of Brazil and Israel drawn below the two phrases. The video was posted on your networks last Thursday, 4th.

The Western Wall is a sacred site in Judaism. Located in Jerusalem, the monument attracts thousands of people, including religious people and tourists, who take the opportunity to make wishes using notes that are stuck between the stones of the wall.
Jair Bolsonaro was preventively arrested on November 22nd and is serving a 27-year sentence for an attempted coup d’état, in a special room at the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília.
Also in November, the first panel of the Federal Supreme Court accepted a complaint from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and unanimously decided to make Eduardo Bolsonaro a defendant for obstruction in the coup plot process.
The PGR understands that the former president’s son coordinated with the American government sanctions aimed at Brazilian authorities, especially STF ministers, as a way of stopping the court from convicting Jair Bolsonaro.
In Israel, Eduardo visited Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. “Whoever bless Israel will be blessed and whoever curses will be cursed”, wrote the deputy on his social networks, in a photo next to Netanyahu – the prime minister did not publish about the meeting.
He also posted photos alongside Amir Ohana, speaker of the Knesset, Israel’s unicameral parliament. The Israeli politician wrote about the meeting and called the Brazilian a “tireless defender of freedom”.
