Russia launched a major attack with 51 missiles and 653 drones in Ukraine during the early hours of Saturday that triggered air offensive alerts across the country, the Ukrainian force said. According to the information, 585 drones and 30 missiles were shot down and neutralized, but 29 locations were hit.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said energy facilities were the main targets of the violence, also noting that a drone offensive “set fire to” the train station in the city of Fastiv, located in the country’s capital region.
Also today, Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses shot down 116 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory and, according to a message sent by Russian news channel Astra via Telegram, the Ryazan oil refinery was hit.

Ukraine did not immediately comment on the alleged attack, but the Russian regional governor of Ryazan, Pavel Malkov, said a residential building was damaged and drone debris fell on the grounds of an “industrial facility,” without mentioning the refinery.
