At least 11 people died on Saturday (6), including a three-year-old boy, after shooting at an illegal bar in the South African city of Pretoria, police said, adding that a search was launched for three suspects who have not been identified.
Another 14 people were injured during the incident in the Saulsville neighborhood, according to a statement.
Police did not say whether the shooting occurred inside or outside the illegal bar, known locally as “shebeen.”
“Three minors are among the deceased, including two boys aged three and 12 and a 16-year-old girl,” the South African Police Service said.
