The dispute between two famous faces has intensified. Former SND director Matej Drlička will not be able to speak publicly about Martina Šimkovičová. “The Bratislava Regional Court will shut me down on December 6. I, Matej Drlička, a citizen of the Slovak Republic, will not actually be able to say even the name of the Minister of Culture in public,” wrote Drlička on Instagram. He specified that after the Municipal Court Bratislava IV rejected the proposal of the Minister of Culture for an urgent measure twice, the regional court granted it.
“It orders me to “refrain from making statements about the plaintiff in the public space, especially in print media, in electronic media including their blogs, and on social networks by publishing false and evaluative statements, judgments and opinions, and refrain from further interfering with the plaintiff’s good reputation through any other form of public statements or by other means.” I found out about this decision when looking at the file kept by the Municipal Court BA IV, in a dispute for the protection of personality initiated against me by the minister,” he explained to followers.
He does not agree with the court’s decision. “I submit to this decision of the Regional Court in Bratislava, but as a responsible and engaged citizen, I cannot respect him and will take all legal steps to reverse him. In essence, a blanket ban on expressing opinions about a person exercising public power, originating from another branch of state power, in addition at the stage of the proceedings, which characterized only by poor evidence, I consider it to be an extremely dangerous signal” he thinks.
The information about the verdict spread through the Internet at lightning speed and did not leave many Slovaks cold. “It’s a shame for her, she has robbed herself of the few remaining moments of history when anyone will care about her name,” responded the moderator Adela Vinczeová for Denník N.
The former superstar shared this sentence on social media Jakub Petranik. He identified with the presenter and expressed his admiration for her through hearts. “Why shouldn’t Drlička talk about Šimkovičová anymore? One unfinished sentence without context was enough for the court,” it is written further in the post on his Instagram profile. You can find a PHOTO post in the gallery.
