The institutional crisis in the country should not have affected the international academic market.
The Faculdade Escola Superior de Advocacia da , opened in 2024 and linked to the Federal Council of the Order, mobilized students and teachers for the seminar “Digital Law: Between Innovation and Regulation”, at the Sapienza University of Rome, from 21 to 28 November.
Ministers from higher courts and authorities from the three Powers participated in the event as speakers or guests.
There is no information about who paid the travel expenses of the ministers of the (Superior Court of Justice) Og Fernandes, Luis Felipe Salomão, Raul Araújo, Mauro Campbell Marques, Marco Buzzi and Benedito Gonçalves.

“The STJ’s Communications department does not have information about ministers’ agendas unrelated to trials and court activities.
Therefore, unless the offices confirm the data, we are unable to report on ministers’ travel.
The STJ does not cover expenses for air tickets and daily travel expenses that are not for institutional representation of the court, therefore, in the service of the court.”
Minister Regina Helena Costa, the only one who confirmed participation, informed that the STJ did not bear any expenses.
He said that the event was promoted and organized by the University of Rome – La Sapienza; There was no absence because, during the period, there were no trial sessions and she remained working remotely.

What happened in October is repeated, when eight STJ ministers, including the magistrate Mauro Campbell, traveled to France and Germany in the company of notary publics and private lawyers, with expenses paid, including family expenses.
At the time, the STJ ministers did not reveal who paid the expenses. Anoreg-BR – Association of Notaries and Registrars of Brazil also did not provide the complete program of events.
