TJMG acquits employee who killed boss at year-end party

The TJMG (Court of Justice of Minas Gerais) acquitted Eliandro Bastos, 36 years old, accused of killing his boss who was stabbed during a company celebration in December 2024. The decision was taken on September 29, 2025.

The family of victim Kerli Fabrício, 37, filed an appeal on October 8 this year. They would be unhappy with the decision. The appeal was received on October 29th and sent to the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais.

The judge responsible for the District of Cláudio, at the time, dismissed the complaint’s claim as unfounded, accepting the MPMG’s request.

According to reports from the PM to CNN, with the justification that he is an expensive service provider.

Faced with dissatisfaction, he grabbed a knife and hit the victim in the abdomen, neck and left shoulder. After trying to be stopped by other people, Eliandro invaded another location and hid in a vacant lot.

The perpetrator of the crime said in a report to the police that he had taken this action because he was afraid of dying. According to him, he would have been dragged and trapped in a warehouse. This version has not been confirmed.
