The Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States (OAS), led by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Eladio Loizaga, yesterday called for the acceleration of the counting process and guarantees of traceability measures that provide certainty in the results.
“The Mission observed that the management and processing of electoral materials have been delayed and intermittent”, reported the organization, which also accused “a marked lack of expertise in the development and execution, especially of technological solutions, which caused delays in the counts”.
From Sunday night until Thursday, the Mission recorded intervals of availability of the location for publishing preliminary results.
