Flamengo and Palmeiras lead the Libertadores 2025 awards; see Conmebol list

The clubs that participated in Conmebol Libertadores and Conmebol Sul-Americana in 2025 reached a new revenue record, according to data from the entity.

While Flamengo and Palmeiras lead the Libertadores 2025 collections, Atlético Mineiro and Fluminense appear in the ranking of the top 4 teams that raised the most in the South American Championship.

In the South American, participating clubs received a total of US$78,775,000 (about R4 428 million), the highest amount in the tournament’s history.

Likewise, Libertadores 2025 reached two new historical records: US$209,000,000 (around R$1.1 billion) distributed among participating clubs in all its phases. And it also registered record attendance, with 4,396,259 people.

With regard to the national teams, Conmebol Copa América also followed this growth process. Between 2015 and 2025, over five editions, prizes increased by 206%, reflecting the same reinvestment policy that characterizes the current management.

400% increase in revenue

Over the last ten years, Conmebol’s administration led by Alejandro Domínguez has consolidated a process of continuous growth based on reinvestment. During this period, the Libertadores and Sudamericana tournaments recorded an increase of more than 400% in revenue destined for South American clubs.

According to Conmebol, the continuous growth of resources has contributed to raising the competitive level of South American clubs, reflected in the increasing quality of both tournaments. Currently, the games are broadcast in 196 countries, reaching global audiences and consolidating the international presence of South American football.

The commercial ecosystem also follows this evolution: for the second consecutive year, Libertadores and Sul-Americana completed 100% of their sponsor inventory, attracting brands of global prestige and registering demand that exceeds the available supply.
