Halfway through the second half, Mirassol started to control the match. With more experience than his opponent, he began to dictate the pace, with more possession of the ball and nullify Rio’s attacks. Danielzinho and Felipe Jonathan took paint off Dyogo Alves’ post. In the final stretch, the duel became more open again, but the physical issue weighed on both sides and the intense duel ended in a draw.
