Russia has defended America’s new national security strategy, based on Trump’s nationalist approach, and said it is ‘globally in line’ with Moscow’s vision
A defended this Sunday (7) the new national security strategy of thebased on the nationalist approach to Donald Trump’s presidency, and said it is “globally in line” with Moscow’s vision.
“The adjustments we observed, I would say, are globally in line with our vision,” declared Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov in an interview with public television Rossia, referring to the document published on Friday.
Peskov said he hoped the new American strategy “could constitute a modest guarantee for [a] capacity [da Rússia] to continue constructively [seu] work together to find a peaceful solution in Ukraine.”
The Trump administration published a document that redefines its “national security strategy” in accordance with the American president’s position, which consists of prioritizing the interests of his country.
The document anticipates the “disappearance of European civilization” and defends the fight against “mass migrations” and the restoration of “United States dominance in Latin America”.
It also declares that NATO will not be expanded, contrary to the hopes of the Ukrainian government, which is facing Russian invasion.
