President of the state directory of São Paulo, federal deputy Kiko Celeguim made comments about the former first lady that caused controversy at the opening of the party’s women’s meeting this Saturday (6), at the Palácio do Trabalhador, in the center of the capital.
In his speech, Celeguim would have said that the senator (-RJ) as presidential candidate for the former president (PL) would have happened because the extreme right is not prepared to have Michelle in that position, due to the fact that she is a . He also pointed out that she is dedicated to women’s issues through her role as president of PL Mulher.
Part of the militancy present was uncomfortable with the mention of Michelle, interpreted as a defense of the former first lady, and interrupted Celeguim. In exchanges of messages, PT members classified the episode as a major gaffe.
Celeguim disagrees, stating that he did not defend Michelle and that it was only one person among 400 activists present who disagreed.
“I said that it is true throughout society and, therefore, in all political fields. In my opinion, the repercussion among Bolsonaro ‘men’ to that public criticism that Michelle Bolsonaro made of the Bolsonaro alliance with Ciro Gomes has everything to do with Bolsonaro’s decision to support Flávio. I think the extreme right is too intolerant to launch a woman as a candidate for president”, says the leader to the Panel.
Michelle from PL with Ciro Gomes (PSDB) in Ceará at an event and was later reprimanded by Bolsonaro’s children. Flávio said that the speech had been “authoritarian and embarrassing”. The disagreement happened days before the announcement of the senator’s presidential candidacy.
Celeguim says that, in his speech, he stated that he imagines a conversation between Flávio and Bolsonaro in which they would have said “this woman [Michelle] nor screwing”, regarding her possible presidential candidacy. For this reason, Flávio would have been launched by his father.
The PT state president states that “for some left-wing activists, a few, if you don’t say exactly what is in the booklet or if you don’t make a common sense speech, it generates this type of criticism. But everyone who was there knows the side I have.”
