The leader of the PT in the Chamber of Deputies, (RJ), stated that the statement by the senator (PL-RJ) that he has a “price” for withdrawing his pre-candidacy for the Palácio do Planalto “exposes the method of blackmail”. In a post on the social network X, this Sunday, the 7th, Lindbergh once again appealed against amnesty for those convicted of coup acts.

“Flávio Bolsonaro is a joke. He launched himself as a candidate on Friday and today he already admits that he may give up saying that “there is a price” for that. It’s a bluff, it’s slapstick”, he wrote.

“The term he uses, I have a price, exposes the family’s method: blackmail,” he continued. “His brother, Eduardo, has already blackmailed the entire country with threats of sanctions against the STF minister and tariffs against Brazil, and Flávio himself repeated the pattern of blackmail, comparing the effect of this to the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now he is trying to negotiate amnesty with Centrão as a condition for withdrawing his candidacy”

He added: “And worse: it would be a gigantic shame if Parliament voted for amnesty to meet Flávio Bolsonaro’s whim. Furthermore, the amnesty is unconstitutional, it violates important clauses, including the Democratic State of Law itself. In short, it is a shame, another chapter in the permanent demoralization of the Bolsonaro family.”

Earlier, Flávio told the press that he will announce on Monday, the 8th, a “price” to withdraw his pre-candidacy. The parliamentarian said that granting amnesty to those convicted of coup acts is one of the topics under negotiation. The statements came after the senator participated in a service at the evangelical church Comunidade das Nações, in Brasília. He was accompanied by his wife, Fernanda.
