For many people, the Christmas season is a time of peace and family well-being for artists it is often the other way around. This is the most demanding work period of the year. Concerts, Christmas tours and special performances mean a pace for them that requires maximum energy and endurance. The singer Katarína Koščová knows best how exhausting this part of the year can be.
The superstar travels all over Slovakia, but often visits abroad together with her talented pianist Dan Špiner. Their program is particularly busy during the Christmas holidays. It is not so easy for her to find a balance between her hectic work life and her family.
Together with her husband Adam and their children Anička and Adamko, they live in the village of Kuková in the Svidník district, where they have a family home. “Good morning, I came home for one day and I’m leaving again for five days. The electricity doesn’t work until four,” she complained to a fan on Instagram a few days ago. Her video can be found at the beginning of the article.
During her free day, she knew what she wanted to do. “I wanted to dye my hair, but warm water won’t work… dzedzina,” remarked the singer with sadness, although she often praised the peace and advantages of village life. This time, the power outage complicated her plans considerably, as she wanted to prepare for the upcoming concerts.
